Understanding the Differences: NCR Pads, NCR Books, and NCR Sets
NCR forms are useful for invoices, receipts, delivery notes, work orders and other paperwork where you need duplicate or triplicate copies without using carbon paper.
There are three main options: NCR pads, NCR books and NCR sets.
NCR Pads: NCR pads are glued along one edge onto a backing board. Each form can be torn out as it is used, and a loose writing shield is supplied. They are a good choice for invoices, receipts, delivery notes and general forms where the sheets do not need to stay bound.
NCR Books: NCR books are stapled and tape bound, making them more secure than pads. The pages are perforated, so copies can be removed while one copy stays in the book for reference. They are ideal where you need a permanent bound record, such as receipt books, job books, work order books or log books. Thanks to a recent upgrade in our production process, we can now produce our NCR books much quicker than before.
NCR Sets: NCR sets are individual glued sets of NCR sheets, supplied loose rather than in pads or books. They are useful when single forms are more convenient, or when pads and books would be too bulky. They are often used for contracts, agreements, reports and custom forms.
Which Should You Choose?
Choose NCR pads for a simple, cost-effective option where forms can be removed as needed.
Choose NCR books if you need to keep a bound copy for your records.
Choose NCR sets if you want loose individual forms without carrying a pad or book.
