We print on thick, high-quality 350gsm card for a substantial feel, with the option to upgrade to sturdy foamboard for an even more robust, longer-lasting display. We then apply a professional lamination to protect your design from scuffs. Each card is hand-finished with a robust locking strut on the reverse, ensuring it stands securely on any flat surface.

Common Uses:

  • Customer Engagement: Place a QR code next to the till to politely encourage Google or TripAdvisor reviews.

  • Hospitality: Ideal for freestanding drinks menus, ‘daily specials' or displaying WiFi details on tables.

  • Welcome Signage: A professional greeting for reception desks, weddings or event registration points.

Key Features:

  •  Choose our standard 350gsm card or upgrade to premium foamboard for maximum durability.

  • Includes a pre-fixed heavy-duty strut; simply fold out and display.

  • Laminated for longevity and a wipe-clean surface.

  • Available in A4 and A5 to suit your counter space.

Printed In-House Because we print and assemble everything on-site, we maintain complete control over the finish. We can usually commence production the same day, helping you get your promotions on the counter faster.

How it works

We'll need to have a file that we can print from.

Simply work out the total number of prints you would like, any options, and Add to Basket.

After checkout, you'll be prompted to upload your file, and you'll be able to write any special instructions to us there.

We don't print anything automatically. We'll check your order, make sure we understand it, and email you a PDF proof for you to approve first. This will show the final layout as it would print, and allows you to check for any mistakes.

Once you approve your PDF proof, we'll get started and email you once we've finished.

Preparing your file

The ideal: a press-ready PDF The best thing you can send us is a PDF exported at 'Press Quality' (or 'High Quality Print') settings, set up with 3mm bleed and cropmarks. Bleed means your design extends slightly beyond the cut edge, so there are no white borders after trimming.

Not sure how to do this?  Canva makes it straightforward — export as PDF Print and tick the 'Crop marks and bleed' box. For Adobe InDesign or Illustrator, use File → Export → PDF (Print) and choose the Press Quality preset. Our full artwork guide is at  copycentre.com/artwork.

For professional designers

  • Colour mode: CMYK
  • Resolution: 300 dpi minimum at final print size
  • Bleed: 3mm all sides
  • Safe zone: keep important text and logos 4mm inside the trim edge
  • Fonts: embed all fonts or convert to outlines before exporting
  • Cropmarks: include (offset 3mm from trim edge)
  • File format: PDF/X-1a or PDF/X-4 preferred; PDF (Press Quality) also accepted

We also accept: JPEG, TIFF, PNG, Word, PowerPoint, and Publisher files.

Whatever you send, you'll see a proof first.

Specifications

  • All cards are printed in full colour and at excellent quality. The prices are the same even if your design is black & white only.
  • Coated Silk card is smooth and white, with a slight finish to it. It's the most popular choice for printing, and the quality is excellent.
  • Uncoated card is a bond paper, with a plain natural 'paper' finish. It feels nicer but is not so great for solid printed backgrounds, which can look a bit mottled. It's best suited for designs with a white or light background.
  • Lamination (encapsulation) involves bonding a durable, transparent plastic coating to both sides of the card. This is available in two finishes:
  • Gloss: A high-shine finish that boosts colour vibrancy and is easily wiped clean.
  • Matt: A smooth, elegant finish that prevents glare under bright lights.
  • All our paper is FSC-certified, from mixed and renewable resources.

Turnaround

  • Production time starts once you have approved a PDF proof.
