How it works

• Select your booklet options, place your order and pay online.
• After checkout, you'll be prompted to upload your design file. We'll check it for print suitability and send you a PDF proof before printing. This allows you to check the final layout, page order, names, dates and wording before approving it.
• Once your proof has been approved, we'll print, finish and dispatch your order. The usual turnaround is 2–3 working days from proof approval.

Ordering a particularly large quantity? We regularly produce larger runs. Please email us with your quantity, deadline and delivery requirements so we can confirm the best price and turnaround.

Artwork Setup

Please supply your artwork as individual A4 or A5 pages in normal reading order. Do not arrange two pages onto one sheet or try to create a booklet layout, as we will set this up correctly for printing.  The total number of pages must be divisible by four. For example, an 8-page booklet should be supplied as an 8-page document. A 6-page document would require two blank pages to make a complete 8-page booklet.  For comfortable reading, we recommend using a minimum font size of 12pt for the main text.

Paper and Card Options

• Coated Silk is smooth and white, with a slight sheen. It produces bright colours and clear photographs and is our most popular finish.
• Uncoated has a natural paper finish with a slightly more textured feel. It provides a softer, understated appearance and is easier to write on.

Available paper and card weights include:

• 350gsm: Our thickest card and premium option
• 250gsm: A substantial, medium-weight card
• 170gsm: A thinner card, suitable for inside pages

A four-page Order of Service is printed on one sheet of card and folded in half. Longer booklets are folded, stapled and finished as required.  All our paper and card is FSC-certified and sourced from responsibly managed materials.  

File Types

Our preferred file format is a press-quality PDF with crop marks and 3mm bleed. Our Artwork Guide explains how to prepare and save files using Adobe software, Canva and Microsoft Office.  Please keep all text, logos and important details at least 4mm away from the finished edge.  We can also accept JPEG, TIFF, Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Publisher files, although these may require additional checking or adjustment.  If you do not already have a design, Canva is a straightforward way to create your booklet on a phone, tablet or computer. When finished, download your design using the PDF Print setting.

File Checking and Proofs

We check every file for print suitability before production and will send you a PDF proof to approve before printing.  Please carefully check all names, dates, times, readings, page order and spelling before approving your proof. Our file check does not include proofreading.

Turnaround Time

Our standard printing turnaround is approximately 2–3 working days from approval of your PDF proof.  Faster and same-day collection may be available for print-ready files, depending on the quantity and our workload. Please contact us before ordering when you have an urgent deadline.
