NCR Pads – why use them?!
NCR pads are used when you need two or more copies of a handwritten form without using separate carbon sheets. Pressure from a pen transfers the writing onto the coloured sheets underneath, creating an instant duplicate, triplicate or quadruplicate copy. They are commonly used for invoices, receipts, delivery notes, job sheets, waste transfer notes, inspection forms and vehicle checklists.
Choosing Your NCR Pads
Our pads contain 50 sets of forms and are glued along the top edge onto a backing board. Loose writing shields are supplied to prevent writing from transferring onto the next unused set. Choose from:
- 2-part NCR: White and yellow sheets for duplicate forms
- 3-part NCR: White, yellow and pink sheets for triplicate forms
- 4-part NCR: Four sheets for quadruplicate forms
NCR pads are generally more convenient than loose sets and quicker and more cost-effective to produce than perforated NCR books.
You can also add:
- Single- or double-sided printing
- Sequential numbering
- Two- or four-hole punching
- Different starting numbers and number positions

Supplying Your Artwork and Ordering
A press-quality PDF is the preferred file format, although we also accept Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, JPEG and TIFF files. We can resize supplied artwork when required. If you only have a paper copy, you can post it to us for scanning. You can also download our simple invoice template or use our design service, with prices starting from £40 plus VAT.
To order:
- Choose the pad size, number of parts and quantity.
- Add any options such as numbering or hole punching.
- Upload your artwork during checkout.
- Include the starting number and any other instructions.
We do not print orders automatically. We will check the supplied files and order details, then email you a PDF proof for approval. Please check all wording, numbering and layout carefully before approving it.
Turnaround and Delivery
Production normally takes 2–3 working days after approval of your PDF proof. Courier delivery is included in the online price.
